The formaldehyde problem comes from the glue,
not from the wood itself.
Soybean protein glueConventional boards are bonded with urea-formaldehyde glue — the source of 90% of indoor formaldehyde. Shengshi Gelin uses natural soybean protein glue at every layer instead, removing that source at production rather than treating the surface.Wood itself still releases a trace of formaldehyde, so we make no absolute claims. We quote only the grade and the numbers.
The result: an ENF-grade board with formaldehyde emission below 0.025 mg/m³ — a limit five times stricter than E1, the standard grade most suppliers use

Because we are not a company that buys board and builds cabinets with it. The board comes off our own production line — nobody resells it to us along the way.
Ask us what glue, what grade, what spec — we answer on the spot. A reseller has to go back and ask the factory.
10-year 1-to-1 warrantyCovers delamination, cracking (not caused by external force) and moisture blistering from manufacturing defects. After a valid claim is confirmed, the board is replaced with the same specification or its original purchase value is compensated. This covers the board itself only.

What is the difference between ENF, E0 and E1 board in Malaysia?+
ENF, E0 and E1 are formaldehyde emission grades under GB/T 39600-2021. ENF (≤0.025 mg/m³) is the strictest tier — the grade commonly specified for premium residential and high-end interior projects. E0 (≤0.050 mg/m³) is used for standard home decoration and custom furniture, while E1 (≤0.124 mg/m³) is used for commercial and engineering projects. Shengshi Gelin supplies ENF as standard across our full range in Malaysia; E0 and E1 only on specific request or large custom orders.
