Straight answer first

We are not based in Penang — here is exactly how that works

Our workshop is in Puchong, roughly a four-hour drive from Penang. We do not have a Penang branch, a Penang showroom or a Penang team, and we are not going to pretend otherwise — you can find that out in one phone call anyway, so you may as well read it here first.

What it means in practice: the site measure is a scheduled trip, not a "we'll swing by". We book it with you, and everything after it — 3D rendering, quotation revisions, material choices — happens without you needing to be anywhere. The Wednesday progress photos matter more here than anywhere else, because for you they are not a convenience, they are the only way you actually see the site.

If being able to walk into a local showroom this afternoon is what you want, we are genuinely not the right choice, and we would rather say that now than take the site measure trip and waste both our time.

What is actually different about renovating in Penang

The George Town heritage zone changes what is even allowed

George Town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If your property sits inside the core or buffer zone, what may be altered is restricted and approvals take time that nobody can shortcut. That approval time is not ours to control — which is exactly why our three-month clock starts after approvals are in, and why we put the counting method in writing before you sign.

Island high-rises tend to be stricter on working hours

Permit, service lift booking and permitted hours are set by your building, and several Penang condominiums run tighter windows than the Klang Valley norm. Send us your management renovation rules with the floor plan and we will schedule against them instead of discovering them on day one.

Pre-war shophouses are made to measure, not assembled

Floor levels, party walls and ceiling heights in older Penang units are rarely uniform. Standard modules do not fit them; cabinetry has to be built to the measurements actually taken on site. That is the same production line either way for us, but it makes the site measure the step you should not rush.

Sea air is not the same as inland humidity

Coastal units run humid year-round. That is a board question, not a design question — ask any supplier what happens to their board under sustained moisture, and ask for it in writing rather than as a reassurance.

Every Wednesday, we send you the progress — you never have to ask

Site photos + what was done this week + what happens next week, straight to your WhatsApp.

You should not have to become the project manager of your own home.

Promise 02

Three-month handover — and we write down which day the clock starts

Three months from the day you have the keys and management approves works to begin. Public holidays, weekends, and time spent on your own design changes are not counted.

Anyone can say "guaranteed on time". We put the counting method in writing.

Promise 03

10-year board warranty, in writing

Delamination, cracking, moisture blistering — we replace the board or refund what that board cost. The warranty covers the board itself; it does not cover labour, installation or transport.

We write down what is not covered too. That is how you know the warranty is real.

Promise 04

One team is accountable from first measure to handover

Installation is supervised on site by our own technicians brought in from China. Trades like wiring and ceiling work go to specialist subcontractors, as is standard in the industry — but one team runs the project from start to finish.

If something goes wrong, there is nobody else for us to point at.

Not a paid upgrade. It is the standard specification. Third-party test report JC26-WT0087 measured 0.022 mg/m³. If you have young children or someone expecting at home, this is not something you have to pay extra to get.

Wood itself releases trace formaldehyde, so we only talk in grades and numbers, never absolutes — and this number is one you can take to any other supplier and compare.

✕You just want whoever quotes cheapest — we do not compete on price, and we will not cut to a number we cannot deliver on.
